Multidisciplinary pathway in biology
Half of the credits are elective, allowing you to specialise in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Plant Physiology or Biomedicine.
This master’s programme is of interest for the continuing education of healthcare professionals and those in R R technicians and technologists in companies; and upper-secondary school teachers.
The master’s programme has two modes: on-campus and blended (hybrid). In both cases, there is a strong emphasis on developing on-campus laboratory practicals.
In the blended mode, compulsory subjects are concentrated into a three-to-four-week period in November and December. In the second semester, electives are offered with on-campus and online practicals so that students can tailor their electives to their interests and specific needs.

The master’s programme enables you to join research groups at the Faculty of Sciences, CICA (Advanced Scientific Research Centre) or INIBIC (Biomedical Research Institute), associated with the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña (CHUAC).

This master’s programme can be taken on campus or blended, and with full-time dedication (one academic year) or part-time (two academic years).
Fit your studies around your availability. You can take this master’s programme on campus from September to July, or in blended mode with on-campus practical classes for only three weeks in November and December. In addition, in either format you can study full time (one year) or part time (two years).

Faculty
The master’s programme faculty is made up mainly of staff from the UDC and INIBIC. It also includes guest lecturers from partner centres.
